A graduate student (Master's or PhD) or a postdoctoral researcher (status must be maintained for the duration of the project).
The applicant can request one of three options:
Process for travel support
A letter with the following information will be required:
1. Name and school of applicant
2. Phone number and email of applicant
3. Area of study
4. Conference date, location and website that applicant would like to present
5. Abstract to be submitted to the conference
6. Detailed budget and budget justification. The justification should contain details of travel, lodging and per diem costs
Process for project support
An application with the following information is required:
1. Name and school of applicant
2. Phone number and email of applicant
3. A summary of the applicant's current research, the proposed project, the project's objectives, how the proposed project will enhance the applican't current research
4. A plan and timeline for the project
5. The description of how this project will enhance their skills and knowledge and their professional goals
6. A description of the mentorship plan during the externship peiod (e.g., frequency of communication among the applicant, the applicant's mentore, the hosting mentor, etc.)
7. A detailed budget and justification. The justification should contain details of supplies, travel, lodging, per diem, etc.
8. Letters of support: signed statments from the parent institution and hosting institution where the project is going to be conducted.
Topics of interest to ARCeH include: climate change and the impact on child health, metal exposure and child health, translational research from bench to bedside to improve child health, prevention research (e.g., nutrition as prevention to reduce the toxicity of environmental contaminants, technologies to reduce exposure, etc.)
