microbiology from the George Washington University Medical School, and his M.P.H in health policy from UNC-Chapel Hill. He was a National Science Foundation fellow; honored with numerous awards from NIH and elsewhere; is a Fellow of the Collegium Ramazzini; and was a
Senior Fulbright Global Scholar focused primarily on children’s environmental health in Thailand as well as in the South-East, and East Asian regions. Dr. Suk was Chief, Hazardous Substances Research Branch, and Director, Superfund Hazardous Substances Basic Research and Training Program [Superfund Research Program (SRP)], National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH). Aside from a two-year period in which he was the Acting Deputy Director of NIEHS, he had served since its inception as Director of the NIH/NIEHS SRP, a unique Program fostering
interdisciplinary research and training to reduce disease.

Chutikan Hoover is excited to volunteer with ARCeH. She is a hard-working entrepreneur with a heart for helping. She founded Sukho Thai Spa and grew the business from a single employee to over 30 diverse employees including refugees, Asians, and single moms. Never content with the status quo, she develops her own herbal ointments from scratch and has studied yoga in India. She is an NCBTMB Approved Provider of Continuing Education for Thai modalities. She is a board member of Nuad Thai and Spa Association of America and a member in good standing of the American Massage Therapy Association. Prior to this position, Seonmi worked to advance climate and environmental actions for children in East Asia and the Pacific as UNICEF Regional Advisor. She also led the United Nations Poverty-Environment Initiative in the Asia-Pacific region at the UN Environment Programme and developed and managed climate adaptation and green economy initiatives for Sub-Saharan African countries at the UN Development Programme.

Dr. Linda Duffy is regarded as a highly versatile Science Technology and Policy Advisor, Subject Matter Expert, and Thought Leader who leverages a distinguished career in public, private, and academic sectors to advance research initiatives in the life sciences and support new products development (i.e., novel ingredients, medical devices, drug safety). Dr. Duffy recently retired from two decades of service to the Department of Health and Human Services, at the National Institutes of Health [DHHS/NIH/NCCIH]. Currently, she serves on several Research Board of Advisors in both the public and private sectors, including the prestigious Mars Research Review Board, Mars Inc, and the thought leadership Inter-agency Institute for Science on Global Policy [ISGP]. Prior to joining federal government service, Dr. Duffy served for many years in the position of Executive Scientific Director for the Women and Children’s Health Research Foundation for the Kaleida Health System, as a co-appointment to her SUNY- UB Professorship. She is widely knon as a creative problem solver and calculated risk taker leveraging innovation, ethical best practices, and regulatory insights to the development of programs and public/private collaborations. Her success as a transformational leader progressed through roles of increased impact leading up to thought leader advising and influencing US science policy. Dr. Duffy continues to serve in a special research capacity promoting DHHS public-private partnerships, focused on global health ecosystems, as well as promoting innovation biotechnologies, biosafety and biocontainment policies. She continues to advise on probiogenomic impacts on microbiome essential functions in animal model systems and human health. She also is commited to transitioning new industries advancing clean animal, microbial fermentation and plant-based bioeconomies. She has received prestigious awards in recognition of her contributions and has published extensively in journals [150+ peer-reviewed], and co-authored numerous agency white papers, technical reports and book chapters over the past 30 years.

Rose Anne McGee spent her professional career in the federal government primarily at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Scientific Review Officer (SRO). She also served on the board of ARCeH, but prior to that she served on the board and as the director of Embracing the Children, which was the predecessor to ARCeH.
