Dr. William A. Suk received a B.S. and M.S. in Biology from American University in Washington, D.C., a Ph.D. in microbiology from the George Washington University Medical School, and a Master’s in Public Health in health policy and management from the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has been involved in editorial advisory boards of several international journals; is a member of several scientific societies; has been a National Science Foundation fellow; and a Senior Fulbright global scholar. He is a Fellow of the Collegium Ramazzini, an international society of scholars in environmental and occupational health. Dr. Suk is Chief of the Hazardous Substances Research Branch, and Director of the Superfund Hazardous Substances Basic Research and Training Program [Superfund Research Program] at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH). His primary interest is in the assessment of adverse effects on human health, primarily in vulnerable populations, resulting from exposure to deleterious environmental agents. He has served as Director of the NIH/NIEHS Superfund Research Program since its inception, a unique program that aims to foster interdisciplinary research and training approaches to address the complex problems associated with potentially hazardous environmental exposures, and to develop technologies to reduce these exposures, thereby reducing the burden of disease.

Ms. Choi is currently working to advance climate and environmental actions for children in East Asia and the Pacific as UNICEF Regional Advisor. Prior to this position, Seonmi led the United Nations Poverty-Environment Initiative in the Asia-Pacific region at the UN Environment Programme and developed and managed climate adaptation and green economy initiatives for Sub-Saharan African countries at the UN Development Programme.

Brett Kaplan is a middle school student and the Technology Advisor for ARCeH. He has a passion for helping children and adults alike with their technology needs. Brett has been interested in technology from a very young age and challenges himself regularly to enhance his knowledge and abilities. He has developed and implemented multiple local business ventures, the most recent of which he donated a portion of the proceeds to a program for kids that can't afford to go to summer camp. Brett is excited at the opportunity to provide technology support to the entire ARCeH team.
Rose Anne McGee spent her professional career in the federal government primarily at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Scientific Review Officer (SRO). She also served on the board of ARCeH, but prior to that she served on the board and as the director of Embracing the Children, which was the predecessor to ARCeH.
